At NitroDium, we offer a complimentary migration service with all our hosting packages. This allows us to transfer your site with minimal or even no downtime. To initiate the migration, we simply need your current hosting login details to access your files and databases.
How to Request a Migration
To get started, please submit a ticket under the Support section in your client area and provide the necessary details. If you are setting up a new hosting account or server, please place an order for the new service first.

Migration Timeframe
We typically begin migrations promptly. However, manual migrations can take a few days, depending on the size and complexity of your website and the data transfer methods supported by your current server.
You may also request that the migration be scheduled for a specific time or performed outside of regular hours.
cPanel Migrations
For websites using cPanel, we can transfer all content (databases, files, emails, forwarders, etc.) in one go. cPanel allows for a full backup file, which we can restore on our end. To proceed, we need your existing host’s cPanel login details. Please ensure your current host permits the creation of cPanel account backups; otherwise, the process may take longer.
Non-cPanel Migrations
For providers not using cPanel, we will manually transfer your site files via FTP (or SSH, if available) and download a copy of your databases.
Mail Migrations
If you are transferring email accounts, we offer a free mail migration tool. This tool performs an IMAP transfer from your old server to the new one.
Previewing Your Migration
After completing the migration, you can preview the result using a hosts file. Refer to our step-by-step guide for instructions on setting up a hosts file.
Going Live
Once you have confirmed that everything is functioning correctly, you can update your nameservers to point to our servers. Your domain will then start loading content from our servers.
